ABOUT Europe on Screen 2024
TENTANG Europe on Screen 2024
Europe on Screen (EoS) is an international film festival that focuses on showing the latest quality European films that are not released commercially in Indonesia and Asia. Held for the first time in 1990 under the name EU Film Festival and changed its name to Europe on Screen in 2003, EoS is the longest-running international film festival in Indonesia. This year, EoS will screen films from 28 European countries and bring European film practitioners to exchange knowledge, stories, and opinions through various discussion forums and workshops.
This year, EoS will be held fully offline on 7-16 June 2024 in 8 cities in Indonesia. All screenings and events are free of charge.

Europe on Screen (EoS) adalah festival film internasional yang berfokus dalam memutarkan film-film terbaru dan berkualitas produksi Eropa yang tidak dirilis secara komersial di Indonesia dan Asia. Hadir pertama kali di tahun 1990 dengan nama EU Film Festival dan berganti nama menjadi Europe on Screen di tahun 2003, EoS merupakan festival film internasional terlama di Indonesia. Tahun ini, EoS akan memutarkan film dari 28 negara Eropa dan menghadirkan praktisi-praktisi perfilman dari Eropa untuk saling bertukar ilmu, cerita, dan pendapat melalui berbagai forum diskusi dan lokakarya.
Di edisi ke-24, Europe on Screen akan diselenggarakan penuh secara luring pada tanggal 7-16 Juni 2024 di 8 kota besar di Indonesia. Seluruh pemutaran dan acara lainnya dapat diikuti secara gratis tanpa dipungut biaya apapun.

EoS 2024 will not provide a printed catalogue. The catalogue can be fully accessed and downloaded within this website or by scanning the QR code that is available at the screening venues. List of films including films and event schedules could be checked via this website and our social media.

No, you don’t have to have an EoS membership to be able to watch and participate in other events during the festival. Same as last year, EoS membership is no longer valid.

TICKET | TIKET
Ticket registration will be opened an hour before the screening. Scan QR code that is available on the screening venues in order to get the ticket. Please make sure you come according to the screening schedule of the film you want to see.

All audiences must be present during ticket collection as ticket will be given directly after the registration. After the registration, our volunteers will verify you with the data that we have collected. Your ticket will be forfeited should you not present during the verification process.

Setelah selesai registrasi, relawan kami akan memverifikasi Anda kembali di tempat melalui data yang telah kami himpun. During the presentation time, attendees are able to interact with authors of the Posters, and discuss their research with them. Poster authors do not give formal presentations.
FESTIVAL CONTENT
All films in Europe on Screen have their own age classification. Please watch the films according to your age range. We recommend you to check the website, catalogue, and social media for the age rating of the film that you want to watch.

For our offline Film Talk program, you may register when you are about to get a ticket for a film screening that precedes the Film Talk at the screening venue, where the Film Talk is also held. If you wish to join the Film Talk only without the screening, you may obtain the ticket to the Film Talk one hour before the talk begins.
For our online Film Talk program, you may participate by joining the talks at each scheduled time.

All films in Europe On Screen are curated based on the principle of film censorship in PP No.18 Tahun 2004 about Film Censorship. Age rating and synopsis are available as guidance for deciding whether the film is safe to watch for yourself or family members. We always suggest our audience through our social channels to watch films that comply with their age or the age of their family member/friend if they watch the film together.

Film-film yang diputar di Europe On Screen sudah dikurasi berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah penyensoran film yang terdapat di PP No.18 tahun 2004 tentang Penyensoran Film. Terdapat rating usia serta sinopsis film yang dapat digunakan sebagai bantuan untuk penonton apakah film yang akan ditonton dan aman untuk diri sendiri maupun anggota keluarga lainnya. Kami selalu menghimbau para penonton melalui saluran komunikasi kami untuk selalu menonton film yang sesuai dengan usia masing-masing atau sesuai dengan usia anggota keluarga/kerabat jika penontonan film dilakukan secara bersama.
